Security & data
Your records stay yours — and stay put
Part 84 records must be kept for three years. Here is how LeakLedger stores and protects them.
Where your data lives
- Hosted on Amazon Web Services in the United States (us-west-1).
- Encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest (AWS-managed encryption for the database and file storage).
- Database point-in-time recovery is enabled.
Who can see it
- Each company's records are isolated: every request is tied to the signed-in user's company, never to anything in the request.
- Sign-in through Amazon Cognito; passwords are never stored by LeakLedger.
- You decide who's on your account and can remove a teammate at any time.
- No advertising or analytics trackers in the app.
Records that can be trusted
- The ledger is append-only: entries are never edited or deleted. A correction is a new entry that keeps the original and the reason.
- Every imported entry traces back to its source file and row, and the original file is kept.
- Customers, sites and appliances with service records are archived, not deleted, to keep the 3-year history (§84.106(l)).
Getting your data out
Export everything — the ledger, appliances, customers, sites, deadlines and your original files — as a ZIP at any time, including after a trial ends or after you cancel.
